Everything Sports Senior Writer

Before I get started, let it be known that this is one of many that will be posted. Whether that will be me or the other staff writers, expect changes in the future before the NBA Draft on June 22nd. Some shockers, some not so much. You be the judge and let me know in the comments.

*I don’t believe Portland keeps all three of their draft picks
**Look for Utah to make a trade too

Biggest thing to watch out in this draft: The importance of 2nd units. Using a high draft pick as a backup for their superstar. (Ex. Dennis Smith in POR during Lillard era or Thunder with Ntilikina for valuable Westbrook-less minutes). Think about this postseason: PG Marcus Smart (Age 23) played a great game 3 after Thomas got injured.

At least this is just the start with no outrageous predictions…cause I’m not Lavar

EXCEPTION: KINGS MAY END UP AS WINNERS OF THE 1st ROUND

EXCEPTION TO THE EXCEPTION: IF THEY DON’T MESS UP, WHICH IS HIGHLY UNLIKELY
